Sample Training  Projects 

CRISS and ASSET - Two projects for the Home Office -

CRISS - the creation of multi-disciplinary teams to devise multiple intervention strategies to prevent and reduce criminal behaviour in young people.

ASSET- training programme for Police and Probation Services - devised to assess the success of crime prevention strategies through the application of a consistent and organised method of data collection and structuring. The collation of this data provided an evidence base for research, material for the production of guidance documents and the creation of further training programmes.

National Literacy Strategy - part of a national team - implementing the Government's National Literacy Strategy in 345 Suffolk schools - assessing, monitoring and evaluating standards of Literacy and then providing appropriate staff training , guidance documents and support.

Sample Research Projects 

Focus - Current E.Learning project -  collection and collation of data for independent research into the production of appropriate, effective and successful strategies and resources for E.learning. This includes an examination of methods for ensuring an active participant role for learners. 

Hourwatch - an assessment of the first two years of the UK National Literacy Strategy - paper published by Cambridge University & UK Reading Association - findings presented at UKRA National Conference.
